For mineral-bound building materials such as plasters, adhesives, renderings and mortars, SE Tylose offers its starch ether as a co-thickener. Tylovis SE 7 is used in combination with Tylose^® MC in dry mortars.

In hand and machine plasters, Tylovis SE 7 enhances strength, workability and smoothness and can diminish nodulation in gypsum / gypsum-lime based machine plasters. In adhesives and plasters that require a higher amount of methyl cellulose, Tylovis SE 7 reduces stickiness during processing and prolongs open time because of a later skin formation.

Generally, 5 - 20% Tylovis SE 7, related to the amount of Tylose MC used is required.
