Gypsum and gypsum-lime-based plasters are only applied indoors – excluding „wet rooms“. These can be machine applied plasters, bonding plasters and thin layer plasters. Regional differences exist concerning application and formulation. The proportion of gypsum-based plasters with lightweight aggregates has risen considerably over the past years.
The mechanical processing of gypsum-based plasters is only possible after the addition of Tylose® MC-grades. They guarantee the best processing of the plaster during all necessary steps (warping, felting, smoothing etc.) be it for hand or machine applied plasters. A wide range of specially modified Tylose construction-grades are available.
